In the virtual world, anything is possible. If you are not into casting spells as a magician, be a car racer. There are so many car racing games for Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3): Gran Turismo, Ferrari Challenge, Formula One, etc. The gamer is spoilt for choice!
You see, having a realistic environment is important because it makes the game more real. And if it appears more real in the gamer's mind, then maybe it's real. Of course, in reality, it's all just a game. But gamers seek the thrill and the fantasy from playing games. They want to be totally lost in the games during the game play, and having realistic 3D graphics helps to accomplish that. For example, if you are a car racer, you want as close a feeling as you can get to being a genuine car racer. That means you want to race in an electrifying atmosphere, with flash lights going off in the crowd and being surrounded by many race queens and lots of media attention. And you can't duplicate that experience with generating realistic 3D images with excellent lighting. And having a little bit of extra power comes in real handy to help achieve all that.
So if you're into racing games, and other role playing games, your choice of video gaming console should be one that has the best graphics. Therefore, the PlayStation is a serious candidate that you should consider. As mentioned earlier in the beginning of this article, the PlayStation 3 (PS3) is the most advanced in terms of hardware and possesses the most power. As game developers evolve with this technology, PlayStation games (especially racing games) will capture the atmosphere totally, and throw the gamer into an almost real virtual world that's full of exciting possibilities.
